Peter Mazzone has been a respected criminal defense attorney since 1995, known for handling complex criminal cases in state and federal courts. He frequently lectures at conferences throughout the state and has also successfully argued before the Washington State Supreme Court. He is an adjunct professor at the Seattle University School of Law where he teaches trial advocacy.
John W. Ewers, admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2001, is a seasoned trial attorney known for his aggressive defense work in both public and private practice. After years of handling serious felony cases across Washington, he rejoined Mazzone Law Firm as a partner in 2024.
Bill joined Mazzone Law Firm in 2019 after a 40-year legal career, primarily as a public defender and longtime Director of the Snohomish County Public Defender Association. He has represented clients at all levels of Washington courts, including in four death penalty cases.
John is the newest associate at Mazzone Law Firm, bringing five years of experience as a prosecutor in Missouri with a focus on domestic violence cases. He is passionate about defending the rights of the accused and has a strong background in criminal law.
Ciana is the Administrator and head paralegal at Mazzone Law Firm. Since joining in 2022, she has quickly advanced through dedication and hard work, as a result she now plays a key role in managing firm operations and supporting our legal team.
Machaela, a Paralegal at Mazzone Law Firm, holds a law and justice degree from Central Washington University and began her career in family law. She is passionate about the legal field and committed to providing exceptional client support.
Anika Nelson is a committed legal secretary with experience in criminal defense and family law. She holds an Associate’s Degree from Edmonds College and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s at University of Washington and is passionate about justice, client service, and community impact.
